Visa and Immigration Information
Nationals of most countries can receive a visa on arrival at the Kathmandu airport. This Visa on Arrival costs $30 USD. Please bring cash and be prepared to pay in cash if needed.
However, there are exceptions, including for countries with many IADL members. If you are a national of the following countries, you will need a visa in advance.
We are working with our Nepalese partner hosts to ensure your visas are processed appropriately. If you are a national of any of the following countries, please indicate on your registration form so that we can work with you to expedite your visa application.
